Lead Pastor and First Lady
Jared R Arango currently serves as the Lead Pastor of The Peninsula Pentecostals, a cutting-edge church with approximately 600 worshippers.
In addition to being a full-time Pastor for the past twenty-two years, he has held several key positions in the VA District. He served as the Youth President for eight years, then as Home Missions Director for eight years, and most recently as the Global Impact Director for the past two years. He has also served as the National Pentecost Sunday Coordinator for the UPCI.
Pastor Arango is known throughout the UPCI as a revivalist, a church growth guru, and a leader of leaders. He has created and authored many church growth resources including books, manuals and most recently launched an evangelistic and revivalistic campaign called “40 Days of Fire” which has been implemented internationally with apostolic results. He has taught church growth and leadership both locally and internationally.
He currently leads a team of about 70 leaders at The Peninsula Pentecostals, a multicultural, multi-generational assembly. Last year, under his creative leadership, he led his congregation to a record-breaking Easter attendance of 1579.
Jared is the husband of Maria Arango and the father of Risa and Jared Arango II. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and is a certified scuba diver.
Maria T Arango served as Church Secretary for over five years. She currently serves the church in the areas of Music and Ladies Ministries. She guides the church into worship each week through the dynamic and talented music team as well as the choir she leads. Her contribution in the area of music has been a blessing both district-wide and nationally.
