Live Again Devotions

Day #18

“When Resurrection Meets Death”

John 11:25-26 (KJV)

25) Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

26) And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believeth thou this?

When Jesus told Martha that her brother Lazarus shall live again, Martha responded with a yes; “I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”  In other words, in the rapture.  But Jesus was not talking about the rapture of the future, He was referring to the present.  He said, “I am the resurrection.  And I am here.  If you would believe in me, though he were dead, he shall live.”

When your dead situation faces the resurrection, all you must do to see it rise again is believe in Jesus, the resurrection.  Like Martha, you might have a distant hope that one day it will get better, but why wait when Jesus, the resurrection, is present to raise your dead thing to life right now.  The only prerequisite is to BELIEVE!

You need to bring your dead thing that you want to see live again to the feet of Jesus now.  It doesn’t matter how impossible it may seem.  It may have been dead for a long time now and has even begun to stink, but nothing is impossible to them that believe in Him.  Come believing that He can resurrect it and it will rise again.

Do not listen to the voices of doubt and death.  Listen to the voices of faith and life.  Go ahead, right NOW, and bring your dead thing to the resurrection … to Jesus in prayer.  Don’t wait until tomorrow.  He is the God of the NOW!

So, introduce The Resurrection to your dead thing that it may LIVE AGAIN!
