Live Again Devotions
Day #5
“From The Tomb To The Table”
John 11:43–44 (NKJV)
43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!”
44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.”
John 12:2 (NKJV)
2 There they made Him a supper; and Martha served, but Lazarus was one of those who sat at the table with Him.
In John chapter 11, a friend of Jesus, named Lazarus died. He got sick, Jesus knew about it and could have come and healed him, but Jesus waited and Lazarus died.
And when Lazarus died, they put him in a tomb. Jesus came to the tomb of Lazarus and said, “Lazarus come out and live again!” And the Bible says that Lazarus walked out in grave clothes and the disciples that wrapped him in grave clothes now unwrapped his grave clothes off. And Lazarus got loose! We rejoice that Lazarus got loose!
But that’s not where the story ends. In chapter 11 he was in a tomb, but if you turn the page over to chapter 12, it says that “…Lazarus was one of those who sat at the table with Him.”
We can rejoice today because in chapter 11 of our lives we were in a tomb dead. But in chapter 12 of our lives, we are sitting at the table with Jesus!
When God allows you to LIVE AGAIN, He will invite you to sit at His table of supernatural blessings and favor. When God calls you out of the tombs of dead things that were once precious to you, He will resurrect them and serve them to you in the living table of provision.
Allow God to call you out of the tomb of death by connecting to His Spirit. In so doing, He will speak life and deliverance to you. Then you will enjoy sitting at His table of fellowship.
LIVE AGAIN by connecting to His Spirit through prayer. His ear is not deaf to your call in prayer.
