Gathering together as a church body is crucial to believers as Hebrews 10:25 instructs us, “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” In accordance with this, we will continue having services as usual. In the event that a federal or state agency orders the cancellation of public gatherings or events, we would comply.

With the heightened awareness and public concerns of the rapid spread of the coronavirus, we are closely monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak as well as adhering to the recommendations provided by the VA Department of Health. Here at TPP, we are committed to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for everyone who enters our campus. Therefore:

The following are steps we have taken and suggested recommendations from the VDH:
We have increased our routine cleaning and disinfecting throughout our campus to an even higher standard.
Wash your hands often with soap and water. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available. (We have hand sanitizer available in several locations throughout the campus and we encourage you to use it often.)
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth as much as possible.
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or sleeve (not hands) when coughing or sneezing.
Refrain from shaking hands and then touching your eyes, nose, or mouth before washing your hands.
We encourage you to stay home if you or any member of your family is exhibiting symptoms of the coronavirus (a fever with coughing and shortness of breath) or are sick and not feeling well. Please seek medical attention first. You will be able to watch the service online through the TPP APP.
Please remember that children should be fever free for 24 hours without taking a fever reducing medicine before attending any services.
Vulnerable populations are encouraged to avoid crowds as much as possible.

If you are unable to attend any of our services, we invite you to be a part of our worship service via the TPP APP and continue honoring the Lord with your financial giving by making your financial contributions in one of three ways:

1. Through the TPP APP
2. Online at www.thepeninsulapentecostals.org
3. By mailing your contributions to the church:

As believers, we should not panic or live in fear. 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us “For God hath not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and a sound mind.”

In times like the present, the church has a great opportunity to be a light to the world around us and share the peace of God with others. We should continue to pray for the sick knowing that God is able to heal all sicknesses, diseases and viruses.
